Vietnamese Soymilk Producer Green Spot Launches Marketing Campaign March 15, 2007
Green Spot Co, the producer of Vitamilk soy milk, is spending 50 million baht on a new marketing campaign to stimulate consumption and expand its customer base this year, the Bangkok Post reports.
Chanit Suwanparin, general manager for marketing, said the funds represented one-quarter of Green Spot's total marketing budget for the year. The campaign, titled ''Good Time'', will encourage people to consume more Vitamilk each day.
The company hopes the campaign will attract people who now drink tea, coffee and green tea and milk, to shift to Vitamilk product as a healthy alternative.
It expects the campaign will help increase sales of Vitamilk by at least 10% from four billion baht recorded last year.
Mr Chanit added that the economic slowdown last year affected the overall soy milk market, which still grew by a respectable 16% to 6.3 billion baht, but down from the 34% growth recorded in 2004.
