For the last five years, the Midwest Shippers' Association, a cooperative trade association representing growers, processors and export suppliers of identity preserved (IP) specialty grains, has hosted the Midwest Specialty Grains Conference and Trade Show.
The sixth annual conference will be held September 1-2, 2009 at the Sioux Falls Sheraton Hotel and Sioux falls Convention Center in Sioux falls, South Dakota, USA. The conference has been averaging over 300 participants and has drawn attendees from as many as 26 U.S. states and 11 countries.
The special higher-value food grade grains, non-GMO and organic IP markets, traditional feed grains, and new special trait soybeans and other grains continue to expand and offer great opportunity to those producers and food industry buyers who are involved in this large and growing sector of the quality-focused food industry.
